Job Description:
We are looking for a Business Development Manager who will create, identify and close sales within a specific territory. This person will act as a Spring Telecom representative and actively drive revenue for the company. The ideal candidate must be a self-starting closer who can generate a large pipeline of business within a short period of time. You will be expected to work with existing clients as well as new opportunities to generate creative solutions to complex business communications issues. A successful development manager will be a business-oriented sales person who is an aggressive team player – hungry, agile and intelligent – with the ability and willingness to close complex enterprise solutions and transactional deals.


  • Create and drive revenue within a specified region
  • Generate business opportunities through inside sales leads, professional networking and cold-calling
  • Drive brand-awareness campaigns and lead generation via networking, associations and creative methodologies
  • Generate leads from trade shows, regional networking events
  • Develop strategic territory business plan
  • Own the sales cycle – from lead generation to closure
  • Maintain account and opportunity forecasting within our CRM system
  • Forecast accuracy and sales discipline
  • Ensure 100% customer satisfaction and retention
  • Meet and exceed all quarterly and annual sales quotas


  • Proven sales hunter and closer
  • 5-10 years of experience
  • Proven ability to manage big accounts and drive net new business
  • BA/BS degree strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of sales excellence
  • Knowledge of territory/accounts assigned preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Superior professional presence and business acumen
  • Experience selling to C-level executives and across multiple business lines
  • Preference for a mix of Telecom and Enterprise solutions sales experience
